9/7/2016 Forging Into The Fall
The first of two beginning blacksmith classes were held in August. Six new
beginning blacksmiths spent six hours honing their skills creating a punch and other fun
stuff.
Class schedule:
Beginner Blacksmith class with Stan Tilton Saturday, October 16 from 9am-4pm
Ornamental Work: Scrolls, Leaves, and Advanced Work with Pat Roy October 8 from
9am-4pm $100
Both classes will be held at the Farmington Fairgrounds.
For more information call Janine Winn 491-1465 or email j9sfarm@myfairpoint.net.
In July, the WMBA hosted a 4-H SPIN class at the Farmington Fairgrounds. Stan
Tilton, Janine Winn, Dick Tessier, and Robin Beck worked with 6 kids over six classes in
safety and basic blacksmithing. The kids had a lot of fun.
